Contexto Landscape Design + Build Office

 We are thrilled to share our latest project, a collaboration with our client, Contexto Landscape Design + Build, where we brought to life a series of designs that honor the client’s rich Hispanic heritage while embracing contemporary elements.

 In this project, we took inspiration from renowned landscape architects such as Luis Barragán and Steve Martino. By incorporating vibrant colors and natural materials, we aimed to create spaces that not only pay homage to the client’s heritage but also offer a modern and inviting atmosphere.

 A key element of the design was the integration of biophilic design principles. Throughout the project, we used natural elements to create an immersive and lush environment that connects the building to its surroundings. While specifying plants directly originating from Mexico's landscape. This approach not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also promotes well-being and productivity among users with an added level of connection to the company's cultural roots.

 Understanding the importance of versatile spaces, we designed meeting rooms and workspaces that foster creativity and collaboration. Additionally, we incorporated areas dedicated to rejuvenation, providing users with sanctuaries for quick breaks or overnight design marathons.

 One of the highlights of this project is the custom-crafted pieces that truly make the space unique. From feature walls faced with corten steel to suspended plant inlets, and the prominent display of the Contexto logo, each element was thoughtfully designed to connect back to the core values of Contexto. These elements blend local heritage with forward-thinking, out-of-the-box design.

 This project was a true collaboration, and I am grateful for the opportunity to work alongside Contexto Landscape Design + Build to create beautiful spaces that are unique to their business.
